Some of our Young Carers decided to take up the Young Carer lunch drop in session. They were excited to have Archie, our wellbeing dog, also in attendance for this session. Authentic Education

Some of our KS2 pupils enjoyed the 'Step-in to Sport' event at Chapel Gate. This was an opportunity to try out some new sports, such as golf, to see what is on offer. Well done to everyone for such confidence at trying something new. Education

Just before half-term, RAR visited Kinson common and explored all it had to offer with the Ranger. They explored all of the colours and plants which could be seen. Authentic Education

Kinson welcomed the Kafou music project in to school for wonder music session. The Kafou music project is designed to share Senegalese music to bring people together and it did just that. Authentic Education

A great time was had developing tennis skills at the Can do Tennis event. A group of Upper school pupils were put through their paces at Southbourne Tennis club. Well done to our aspiring Wimbledon hopefuls. Authentic Education

Congratulations to our Y5 Football team who played at Oak's Y5 Boys Football event. They came back with two team trophies and 1 man of the match. Great team effort Y5 - well done. Education

Our Hub were invited back to Great Oaks after their initial visit last term. They got to play games and colour with the residents. A wonderful example of intergenerational relationships. Authentic Education

Y3 and Y4 enjoyed sharing their learning from their Geography units. They were able to compare their knowledge about South and North America. Authentic Education

Y5 enjoyed an Egyptian themed day, exploring pyramids, hieroglyphics, Pharaohs and it was all finished off with an Egyptian feast with home made Egyptian flatbread. Authentic Education

Y2 had a great time at Seacity Museum in Southampton, bringing all of their history learning to life. They really enjoyed the hands on exploration. Authentic Education
