Five Gables Care Home - West Moors

Lots of deliveries happening this week for something SUPER exciting on Wednesday 🫶🏼🐹🐾 has anyone got any ideas what....or who.....we might be welcoming into Five Gables as our newest residents?

Activities have been in full bloom over the last couple of weeks, keeping us busy and getting active, trying new things and most importantly, having fun ✨️🥰

If you were to pick an activity, would you
1) paint a smoothie and then taste test 😋
2) go fishing and play beach ball 🐠🏐
3) do some nature collages 🐾🖌✂️
4) eat jelly & sing old London classics 🥮💂🏽‍♂️
5) do some gardening 🍀🌸

The Five Gables ducklings 🐥

In order of hatching, we are pleased to introduce you to....

5 of the ducklings were named by our residents, the other 2 named by our staff....let's just say it's been an exciting few days, watching them get their hay legs and discover the water 🤩🥰💕

Tomorrow is an exciting day as we will be having a duckling race 🏁 and placing our bets on who will swim the fastest 🐤🐣

As soon as the sun makes an appearance, we get outside for a healthy dose of Vitamin D, topped up with copious amounts of icecream, music and fun 😎🍦🍡👩🏽‍🎤💃🏾

Our private courtyard is a sun trap, and we have been busy tending to our plants, growing beautiful flowers and watching the bluetit baby birds nesting 🐦🌸🏵🌻

We spent an afternoon painting our new Terracotta Pots for the courtyard plants we will be planting in gardening club next week, to give them a bit of colour and life 🥰✨️🖌🎨

Sunshine is coming, which means afternoon teas, cornettos, singalongs and sports, and lots of beautiful flowers 💐🌸🌻⚘️🏵🌼
