The FSK is a volunteer group fundraising to advance the education of the pupils. Charity no. 1122599

The purpose of this page is to enable more effective communication with parents/guardians about the fund raising activities of the FSK. All parents/guardians are actively encouraged to come along and get involved at our informal get togethers. We would really welcome your support as our numbers are small and our school needs all the help it can get. Please note that this page is not a place to air your grievances with any particular person, teacher or the school. All issues of a school nature should be taken up with the school directly. Any communications not adhering to this may be removed and the user banned.

We have another super exciting year planned ahead and we can’t wait to share our fundraising events itinerary with you very soon 👀

We’re delighted to be supporting the school with its Play Strategy this year, by funding further enhancements to our outdoor spaces.

Play is such an important part of our school’s vision of “Forever Flourishing” — creating spaces where children can learn, belong and thrive through play. Outdoor play gives children opportunities to be active, curious, creative and independent, while developing confidence, resilience, friendships and a real sense of belonging 💚

We’re incredibly proud that the funds raised by FSK can help create and enhance these spaces, giving the children even more opportunities to play, explore, discover and flourish every day.

If you would like to get involved in any way, we would love to hear from you - whether it's helping to organise an event, volunteering your time, sponsorship or donating a raffle prize. The more support we have, the more we can achieve and the more the children benefit 🥰

We can be contacted at: [email protected]

🏃‍♂️ What an incredible achievement! 🏃‍♂️
This month, Neil, one of our school parents, took on the Great North Run — the world’s biggest half marathon!🏅

With some challenging hills along the way, Neil ran an amazing 13.1 miles and raised an incredible £743 for FSK - THANK YOU Neil! 🤩

Neil also made us aware that his company offers MATCH FUNDING through Benevity — and with just a few forms for us to complete, we were quickly signed up and able to take advantage of this fantastic benefit.

Neil also raised funds through GoFundMe, and after completing a few forms, FSK is now set up with a PayPal Giving Fund account too! 🙌

Did you know you could help boost fundraising for FSK at absolutely no extra cost to you?

Many employers offer match funding, matched giving or payroll giving as part of their employee benefits. A quick chat with your HR team or line manager, could potentially unlock additional funds for FSK.

These schemes are often available through:

🏦 Banks & financial services
🛒 Supermarkets & retail chains
📱 Utilities & telecoms companies
🏢 Large corporates & consultancies

But it’s not just the big companies! Independent and smaller businesses may also offer charitable giving or match-funding opportunities.

Some employers also offer paid charity VOLUNTEERING DAYS, which could be another fantastic way to support FSK.

✨ It’s always worth asking! ✨

If your employer offers any of these schemes, please get in touch. We’re very happy to provide any information, confirmation or letters you may need to help get things set up 👍🏻

Match funding is essentially extra funding at no additional cost to you — helping us put even more back into our school through enriching activities, resources and experiences for all the children.

And once again… THANK YOU to Neil, for going the extra mile (quite literally!)🏃‍♂️

⭐️ FSK AGM - new faces warmly welcome! ⭐️
Do you fancy a new and rewarding challenge?

Our AGM is at 9am next Friday at the school, and we’d LOVE to welcome some new faces to come along and find out more about FSK and how you could get involved.

We’re always looking for parents and carers to support our committee in a variety of different roles. We completely understand that taking on a formal committee role isn’t always possible or suitable for everyone — and that’s absolutely fine!

That’s why we introduced FSK Champion roles! These are lighter, more flexible ways to get involved, helping with specific areas, projects or events without the commitment of being a committee member.

Whether you have lots of time or just a little, there’s no expectation to take on more than you can manage.

Our current Champion vacancies are:

❤️ Year Group Champions ❤️
You will represent your year group and share FSK communication with parents and carers.
You will join our Champion WhatsApp group and will help feedback on ideas within the group.
We have vacancies in Early Years, Year 1 and Year 5.

💚 Events Champions 💚
Are you organised and have an enthusiasm to get tasks done?
If YES, we need YOU!

💜 Raffle Champion 💜
Are you confident in building relationships and asking businesses for donations?
If YES, we need YOU!

Come along to our meeting, enjoy a cuppa, meet us, hear what we do and see if there’s a role that could suit you. We’d love to have you there! 🤩
