🌟 We popped into Year 2 during their Discovery Time to see what they were getting up to and to chat about what they are looking forward to this year.

There were some fantastic answers! Many of the children told us they were most excited about Phonics, closely followed by "everything!" One child was especially excited about being a whole year older and couldn't wait to show us just how much they had grown already! 😊

Look how much our Year 1 children have grown over the summer! 🌟
The children have settled into key stage 1 life so smoothly, showing wonderful independence during discovery time. From diving into books and building creative masterpieces to choosing their own play, they are taking ownership of their learning and loving every minute.
Seeing their confidence grow day by day fills us with so much pride! 📚🎨✨

Year 6 have been diving into their Christianity unit in RE! The class explored the history of the Last Supper, how Holy Communion remembers Jesus’ sacrifice, and why this tradition brings a sense of unity and hope to Christians. Fantastic historical inquiry and mature discussion! 🍞🍷

Sun, smiles, and serious teamwork! ☀️

Year 2 took their PE lesson outside to work on their coordination, listening skills, and pacing. It was fantastic to see the children encouraging each other and putting so much effort into every activity.
Building great movement habits and learning how to work effectively as a team, all while enjoying the fresh air! 🏃‍♂️👟
