Exciting news for our local families! 🎨

Our Kingsleigh Preschool family is growing, and we are now welcoming two-year-olds into our warm, nurturing setting alongside our 3–4 year olds.

We know how important flexibility is for modern family life, which is why we offer:
15 & 30-hour funded places (Ages 3–4)
Flexible 9am–12pm or 9am–3pm sessions (mix & match days)
Wraparound care from 7:30am–6:00pm via Kidscape (starting September)

Led by a qualified teacher and an expert Early Years team, our children develop independence, curiosity and key social skills while enjoying our fantastic whole-school facilities. 🧸✨

Spaces are limited! Contact us about admissions and funded places. Let's help our littlest learners aspire and grow together in a place where everyone can be great! 🦁

Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract! πŸ§±βž‘οΈπŸ“
Year 1 have been absolute math superstars! They used Dienes blocks to physically build numbers, wrote down the totals from their pictures, and then used their clever comparison symbols to decide which was greater or smaller.
Using physical objects helps our children truly understand the value of numbers, boosting their independence and mathematical confidence. Brilliant effort from everyone! πŸ‘πŸ“

An inspiring new chapter for Kingsleigh! πŸ“šβœ¨
We are incredibly proud to celebrate the official opening of our brand-new school library! Reading is at the absolute heart of everything we do, and this vibrant new space is designed to foster a lifelong love for books, curiosity, and independent learning.

To help us cut the ribbon, we were delighted to welcome Jessica Toale MP to our school. She spent time chatting with our wonderful student council crew about active citizenship and how 'Pride in Place' funding can be used to improve local areas, a fantastic, real-world link to our PSHE curriculum! She also met with some of our most dedicated, passionate five-star readers to swap book recommendations and share a mutual love of reading.

A massive, heartfelt shout-out goes to Canford School for their exceptionally generous donation of Β£5,000 towards the library. This incredible act of community collaboration has helped us fill our shelves with diverse, exciting new titles that will enrich our children’s reading journeys for years to come.

An additional thank you to Pop-Up Bookshop for your contributions as well. We are so grateful.

At Kingsleigh, we are always striving to ensure that everyone can be great, and providing high-quality communication and literacy environments like this gives our children the perfect place to thrive. 🦁
