Come for the training aid, stay for the expression…
Plenty of golfers work on start line by using gate drills, which no have a time and place. However, i’ve noticed that some golfers get so fixated on getting the ball through the gate they become tentative.
Using the T-Line the agenda is to roll the ball down the length of the training aid. Ball falls off left side, face closed. Ball falls off right side, face open.
Roll down the length, face is square to intended target increasing chances of holing more putts.

This player came to me struggling with an uncontrollable left miss.
We focused on maintaining a straighter lead arm in the follow-through to manage face rotation and tighten dispersion. When the arm collapses, the face shuts faster → pulls & hooks. Keep it extended and you’ll control curvature, not fight it.
Key feels to try:
* Lead arm long + wide through the strike
* Chest keeps turning past impact
* Handle exits left & up, not around your body
This isn’t about stiffness — it’s about structure. Structure = predictability.
Save this, try it on the range, and comment “LEFT” if this miss shows up for you.
Keeping the club on plane while chipping is a game-changer 👌
It keeps the motion simple, repeatable, and controlled — letting the club glide through impact instead of getting flippy or steep. When the club stays on plane, you get clean contact, predictable rollout, and better distance control, even under pressure.
Small motion. Big results.
Trust the plane. ⛳️🔥
Stock Chip Shot
There’s a couple aspects that I don’t anticipate people noticing here that I would encourage most players to do on their standard chip shots.

A good release lets the club enter the sand just behind the ball and keep moving. That creates the splash that lifts the ball out—without trying to hit it.
• Proper sand contact and clean exit
• Predictable distance from a free flowing swing
• Helps keep the face open for height and spin
• Prevents excessive deceleration (the biggest bunker killer)
Feel: throw sand onto the green and finish high.
Where do you think hit’s this one? 👀
