Today, the children enjoyed a trip to the library on the bus. They were excited to travel by bus and enjoyed exploring the library, looking at the different books and choosing ones that caught their interest.
We also borrowed a colour-matching bead activity from the toy library. This provided an opportunity for the children to develop their colour recognition, matching and fine motor skills while having fun and exploring the activity together.

🌿 A lovely end to the summer holidays 🥰
We made the most of our last day before the older children head back to school tomorrow with a lovely nature walk 🌳🍃
The children had a checklist of things to spot, see and hear along the way, which kept everyone busy exploring and looking closely at the world around us. 👀🐦🌸
And of course, no walk would be complete without a little treat at two parks on the way home! 🛝😊 It makes me so proud to see how beautifully all the children walk together — they were absolute stars! ❤️
Back home, we finished the day with some back-to-school creativity, designing our very own pencil cases ready for tomorrow. ✏️🎨
A lovely, fun-filled way to finish off the summer holidays. 💕

What a wonderful day exploring our local area! 🌊🌿
Today we visited Poole Museum, where we learned more about the fascinating history of our local area. We then enjoyed watching the different boats along the quay while having a lovely picnic together. 🛥️🧺

To finish off our adventure, we had lots of fun net fishing and seeing what we could discover in the water! 🐟💦

Embracing the joy of outdoor learning today with an engaging water and sand invitation to play! ☀️ Our little Bears dove into a morning of discovery, navigating various pools and fostering their own unique play experiences. We observed so much collaboration and imaginative thinking unfold during this child led activity 🐟
