My name is Kathy, a northerner on the south coast, having lived in London, Guernsey and Italy. I love crafting, especially card making, after trying a day course in rubber stamping 20 years ago. It all snowballed from there and I now teach courses in card making, covering a variety of techniques including stamping, embossing and decoupage, in the friendly and informal setting of my Crafty Cottage

Let's get crafting again folks. Anyone free for a Knit Natter & Sparkle in Crafty Cottage from 2.00-4.00ish on Saturday 29th September? Tea and home-made cake as it's a new season kicking off. I'm into Christmas already - the place is teeming with red, green, gold and glitter as I'm card making at the moment 😄. Looking forward to crochet with my friends. Message me if you're coming....

Only 1 week to go till Knit Natter and Sparkle. Not last Saturday this month cos of Easter weekend. Bev will be here as we have a bridal shop visit in the morning ☺☺☺ together with our lovely bride-to-be. Still meeting from 2.00-4.00 in Crafty Cottage though. Nothing can deter us from our wool! Making a tiny baby cardi and just trimming with lambswool as present for my niece.
Tomorrow is a crafty day in the Cottage. Bring your WIP and lovely selves. Who cares if it's going to be cold outside - inside we'll be warm and cosy. Please come along !!!
Posting a reminder while I remember that next Saturday is Knit Natter & Sparkle in the Crafty Cottage from 2.00 pm onwards. Tomorrow I'm off to the Isle of Wight till Friday so no baking for Saturday but there will be plenty of tea coffee and biscuits ... and lots of lovely company!!!
