We restore a variety of frames and furniture pieces for businesses and private individuals.

Clients include members of the public, stately homes, antique dealers, interior designers, design agencies, auction houses and insurance companies.

"It must have looked stunning once"
We frequently undertake projects to brighten up pieces that have become discoloured over time. Specialist cleaning techniques carefully remove layers of paint or dirt, reviving the gold-leaf piece to its original, radiant splendour.

"Whoops, I really didn’t mean to do that!"
Many antiques suffer knocks with loss of structural or decorative features. Don’t worry! Golden Frames is fully equipped with the skill and resource to rejuvenate even the most sorry looking pieces, using only traditional methods and materials.

Once repairs are complete, pieces can be re-gilded and aged. We will work with you to advise on the finish or work to your spec.

"However hard I look, I just don’t seem to find it."
Still looking for the perfect piece?
Have an idea in mind but no way of creating it?
Looking for a unique birthday or anniversary gift?

We hold a stock of beautiful pieces that we have fallen in love with over the years, all looking for the right home. Some are shining and restored, ready to come home with you whilst others wait for their new owner to come tell us what finish to provide.

Pieces that have caught our eye usually stand out for their obscurity of size or shape or unique design.
