🌾 Lammas & the Earth Element

Lammas marks the first harvest, a quiet invitation to pause and notice what has actually grown.

In Chinese medicine, this time of year belongs to the Earth element: nourishment, grounding, and digestion. Not just of food, but of everything we take in 🧡💛🧡☀️✨🌾🌾🌾🌾 experiences, emotions, and the pace of life itself.

We’re often so focused on what’s next that we forget to ask a gentler question:
What have I already accomplished and harvested?

Maybe it’s a little more calm than before.
Maybe it’s stronger boundaries.
Maybe it’s simply learning, slowly, to take better care of yourself.

Earth reminds us that nothing can keep giving without being replenished. Just like soil, we need rest, nourishment, and space to restore ourselves.

Slowing down a little.
Noticing what’s already here.
Letting ourselves acknowledge what’s grown.

Nature doesn’t rush and perhaps we don’t need to either.
