We are recruiting:
Blue Penguin Nursery (Ages 0-5)
We are currently looking for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our small nursery based in Alum Chine.
We are looking for someone with these skills and qualities:
· Empathy and Patience: Understanding the unique needs of each child and responding with kindness and patience, particularly in challenging situations.
· Strong Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with children, colleagues, and families, adapting language and approach to suit the audience.
· Creativity and Initiative: Designing engaging and innovative activities that inspire children’s imaginations and promote a love of learning.
· Teamwork: Working collaboratively with other practitioners and professionals to ensure cohesive and consistent care.
· Observation and Assessment: Accurately observing children’s behaviour and progress, and using this insight to inform planning and support.
· Resilience and Adaptability: Remaining calm and flexible in a dynamic working environment, responding effectively to the needs of children and the demands of the setting.
· Organisation and Time Management: Managing multiple responsibilities efficiently, maintaining high standards of care, and meeting deadlines.
· Commitment to Safeguarding: Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices, and acting promptly and appropriately to any concerns.
Hours: 4 days per week between 7:45am and 5:45pm
Salary: at least £12.50 per hour but would be dependant on experience
