Huge congratulations to Markus and Greyson (pictured) who levelled up this week at the GB Taekwondo Talent Draft Pathway in Manchester! 🇬🇧🔥
After impressing at a regional session, they were invited to train at the GB Olympic Training Centre, taking on matches with some of the nation’s best — all fighting for a spot on the GB Development Pathway. 💥

You both represented yourselves and DTA brilliantly — we’re proud of you 👊💙

🥋 Extended Sparring Class – This Saturday!

We’re kicking off early at 11am for our Sparring Development session, with Core class running as normal at 10:30am 💪🔥

We’ve got guest coaches and players from nearby clubs joining us to help everyone prepare for upcoming competitions. Training will follow our usual format — just with extra insights, new partners, and fresh ideas 💥🤝

Important: Please make sure you’ve completed the Waiver Form online before arriving — do it NOW if you haven’t already! ✔️ (Waivers completed at the desk incur a £2 admin fee — online is free!)

We’ve got over 70 of us coming, which is fantastic 😊

If you’d like food, please order on your way in and let them know your preferred collection time.

Our swimming session runs from 6:00–7:15pm, so please arrive 10 minutes early for the safety briefing. We’ll also be taking a team photo right after the briefing, before anyone gets in the pool.

What a fantastic week for our Taekwondo family! 🥋🔥

🇦🇹 Karla, Lucia, Savannah and Marina spent the week in Austria taking part in intense Poomsae training, gaining great experience.

🥇 Saturday’s Best Leg Poomsae Championships saw brilliant performances from Karla, Lucia, Savannah, Emily and Matthew, with lots of medals!

🥊 On Sunday, Lucy, Grayson and Lia all medalled after some great fights at the Best Leg Sparring Championships Best Leg Taekwondo Academy 🥋 . A huge thank you to Tsunami Taekwondo for the excellent coaching and support.

We also had Marina, Jemma, Zak, Lucia, Savannah, m m Brooke and Emily training with the GB Poomsae Squad in Manchester on Sunday—another fantastic opportunity to learn and improve.

A busy week, but it’s great to see all the hard work in training turning into progress and results. Proud of everyone—keep working hard, stay strong and keep training! 💪🥋

Hannah is a fantastic role model, an outstanding member of our club, and an absolute pleasure to teach. Her dedication, consistency, and hard work have paid off, and she passed her grading with flying colours! 👏
