Westy has been having so much fun in half term!

He has been busy swimming to cool down😃

It’s been a busy week!

Lots of digging in the garden, walking like giants, making castles, drawing/painting beanstalks😃

We wish you all a super half term.

It’s always very difficult to explain why it’s not pre school, when it is a holiday.

Here’s an idea to help.

Count the number of days until your child is back at preschool, find the same number of items as days and place them in a jar. You can use food, jigsaw puzzles, bricks etc

Each day ask your child to remove one item, it helps to show that the time is decreasing and when it’s empty, it’s time for pre school again😃

Our caterpillars finally emerged as butterflies!!🦋

So many great activities-

A great week of The Three Little Pigs last week, lots of fun with the puppets and trying to build houses with different materials,

We also looked at the spring flowers in the garden and painted them.

A super first week of 2026.

Lots of fun activities about The Gingerbread Man.
We drew pictures of who lives in our house, made puppets and painted gingerbread bread men.

We baked some yummy bread too!
