π This weekβs mission: gutter checks!
Our Site Manager Club carefully inspected the guttering around the school, making sure everything was clear and free from blockages. They removed stray balls, leaves and other debris that can build up over time and prevent rainwater from draining properly.
By taking on tasks like this, the children are not only learning practical skills but also understanding how small actions can make a big difference in keeping everyone safe.
π A huge well done to all our Site Manager Club members for their hard work and dedication, you are making a real impact!

πΌπ Out of this worldβ¦ but firmly grounded in nature! ππΌ
Yesterday our children suited up for what looked like a mission to the moon π but instead of space, they were heading to Careys Secret Garden for an unforgettable beekeeping experience!
Dressed head-to-toe in their protective suits, the children bravely stepped into the buzzing world of bees. They discovered how these incredible little pollinators play a huge role in keeping our planet healthy, from helping flowers grow to supporting the food we eat every day ππ»
There were plenty of βwowβ moments as they observed the hives up close, learned how honey is made, and even met some hardworking bees in action! ππ―
A fantastic day filled with curiosity, courage and a deeper appreciation for the tiny creatures that make a big difference. π
Huge thanks to Hortyβs Honey π

What an incredible evening we had celebrating the vibrant, diverse community that makes our school so special!
Last week, our annual Culture Evening brought families together to share, learn and appreciate traditions from around the world.
A massive thank you to our wonderful parents and carers who cooked up a storm! The children (and staff!) loved sampling delicious dishes from so many different countries. It was a fantastic way for the children to develop their understanding of the wider world through food.
We were also bursting with pride looking at the beautiful artwork on display. The children explored global art styles, building their creative skills and expressing their appreciation for different cultures so beautifully.
Thank you to everyone who cooked, visited, and supported this event. We are so proud of our inclusive school community! β€οΈ

Teamwork, resilience, and plenty of smiles! β½
Our Year 4 and 5 children recently took part in the Greenway Partnership and PEDDSA football tournaments, and they absolutely shone. From bouncing back to finish as runners-up in the final, to bravely rotating positions and taking turns in goal, our young athletes showed incredible sportsmanship and unity.
We love seeing our children develop their confidence and collaboration skills outside the classroom. Every player came home with a well-deserved medal, but more importantly, they came home with heads held high. Superb effort, everyone! β

Smash-ing Success for Ex-Pupil Josh! π¬π§πΎ
We love seeing where the journeys of our former children take them! We are incredibly proud to share that Josh, a former child at Bishop Aldhelm's, has been selected to represent Great Britain in Padel!
While at our school, Josh was known not just for his amazing athletic ability, but for something far more important: he was incredibly humble and truly supportive of everyone on and off the sports field. This perfectly reflects the core values of teamwork, kindness, and personal development that we encourage in all our children every day.
Seeing our former children achieve their dreams is a wonderful reminder to our current classes that dedication, physical education, and a supportive attitude can take you anywhere. Josh is a fantastic role model for our young athletes!
Please join us in wishing him the absolute best of luck! The whole school community is cheering him on! π

Year 5 experienced the magic of live music this week! π»β¨
A group of our children visited the Lighthouse Poole for the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestraβs 'Sing Out' concert, while the rest of the year group joined the fun via a live stream back at school.
From classical masterpieces to modern tunes and a stunning opera solo, the children were completely captivated. The proudest moment was hearing the entire auditorium perform a song co-composed by our very own school choir! πΆ
An amazing opportunity for Year 5 to develop their appreciation for the arts and experience the power of collaboration. We absolutely love hearing what the children enjoyed most about their musical adventure, take a look at the image to see what they had to say! π
