Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful fathers and father figures in our lives.
This week the children created special Father's Day cards, filled with love, creativity, and thoughtful messages.
The children enjoyed sharing what makes them so special and the important role models they are to them.
We would like to wish a very Happy Father's Day to all father's, grandfathers, step fathers, uncles, carers and father figures who provide love, support, guidance and encouragement every day.
Thank you for everything you do. We hope you enjoy your special day ๐

*****INDEPENDENT WORK****
Independent work is such an important part of our Montessori environment. It gives children the opportunity to follow their interests, build concentration, develop problem solving skills, and gain confidence in their own abilities.
Today the children enjoyed exploring the Large Moveable Alphabet, using it to build words, strengthen their phonetic awareness, and bring their ideas to life through writing. Watching children independently select materials, engage deeply in their learning, and take pride in their achievements is always a joy.
The Montessori approach encourages independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

๐๏ธCreative Messy Play Fun ๐๏ธ
Our little artists had a wonderful time exploring colours, textures, and creativity during today's sensory art activity ๐โญ
Using their hands, brushes, and plenty of imagination, the children mixed paints, made marks, and discovered new ways to express themselves.
Messy play is a fantastic way to support children's fine motor skills, sensory development, confidence, and creativity - all while having lots of fun ๐
We love seeing the children engage, explore, and create in their own unique ways โค๏ธ

The children had some special visitors last week the Alpacas.
There was lots of excitement as the children got up close to touch, feed and hug them. Whilst learning about their gentle personalities.
Experiences like this create lasting memories and provide opportunities for learning curiosity, confidence, language and understanding the world.
Special thanks to Mortimer Alpacas for this hands-on experience.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.

The children have been discovering the fascinating world of caterpillars this week.
They have been observing how they move, talked about what they eat, and learned about the amazing life cycle that turns them into butterflies ๐ฆ๐ฆ
There were lots of curious questions, gentle handling, and excited faces as we explored nature together. Activities like these help develop curiosity, communication skills, and a love for the world around us ๐
We can't wait to continue our caterpillar journey and see what happens next!
