Bournemouth Day Nursery

Last Thursday, we had a lovely morning at our role play event, and it was wonderful to welcome our parents in to join the fun! 💛

The children thoroughly enjoyed using their imaginations, dressing up, exploring different roles, and sharing their learning experiences with their parents. It was fantastic to see so much creativity, confidence, and teamwork throughout the session.

Thank you to all the parents who came along and made the morning so special, the children absolutely loved having you there! 😊

What a fantastic day at the beach for our 123’s! 🌊☀️🏖️

The children had a wonderful time exploring the seaside, building sandcastles, collecting shells, enjoying beach games, and spending quality time with their friends in the fresh sea air. It was lovely to see so many happy faces and curious little explorers making special memories together.

Trips like these give the children the opportunity to build confidence, develop social skills, and learn more about the world around them. All while having lots of fun outdoors!

A huge thank you to our staff for making the day so special, and to all our families for your continued support. We hope the children come home with lots of stories to share! 💙

Here’s a little glimpse into the joy at our nursery ✨ Our 1, 2, 3’s and our preschool children each enjoy their own dance sessions. Burning off energy, building confidence, shaking their silly's out and getting into the Friday spirit!

April has definitely been keeping us on our toes, and here are just a few lovely glimpses of what we’ve been up to in our rooms 🌸

In our Pre-School room, we’ve been learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly 🦋 The children explored each stage through fun, hands-on activities, including baking butterfly-shaped biscuits and decorating them beautifully to take home at the end of the day!

In our 1-2-3’s room, we embraced the theme of April showers ☔ The children enjoyed sensory play with water, explored rainy-day stories, and got creative making their own clouds and raindrops. We talked about how rain helps flowers grow, linking it to the changes we see in spring, and even had fun splashing and exploring different textures and sounds that rain can make.

And in our baby room, we got wonderfully messy with playdough and soft flower petals 🌼 These little hands explored textures, colours, and shapes, creating beautiful spring-inspired creations while enjoying a calming sensory experience.

A busy, fun-filled month all around 💐
