Here is a new arrangement I have put together of In the Bleak Midwinter, played by Mistral Winds, a group of local young wind players I have had the pleasure of directing since last month, at the recent Broadstone Christmas concert. They are a really great bunch, and our Sunday morning rehearsals are always great fun. New members VERY welcome!

Back in 2014, I was commissioned to create arrangements of a few Dave Brubeck numbers for flute and piano in the style of Claude Bolling. I never got round to playing them myself, so decided to revisit them yesterday for fun. Here is Take Five. Ideally it would have drums and bass too, but I'm limited to the two instruments I can play myself and record in my front room!

I first played the Feld Sonata back in my undergrad final recital at Birmingham with the amazing Nicholas Loh on piano. Fun to revisit it playing both parts myself this time!

Welcome to my teaching page! I have recently moved to Bournemouth from London, so still have plenty of space for new students here. I have spent the past year or so doing all my teaching online, with many pupils from the London area staying with me permanently online, and also teaching online for the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, but I cannot wait to welcome new students in person into the studio! I am a highly experienced performer on both flute and piano, and love teaching both children and adults of all levels from beginners right up to diploma and beyond. I'm also a highly experienced piano accompanist for exams, diplomas, competitions, recitals and auditions.
