Our wonderful lollipop lady, Suzanne, along with other School Crossing Patrol Officers across BCP, is at risk of redundancy.
Every day, she helps so many children and families cross safely at one of the busiest times of the day, when traffic levels are high. Her presence not only protects children physically but also provides reassurance to parents and promotes safe road-crossing habits for our pupils.
We are asking all parents and carers to support this campaign by:

This is absolutely fantastic news for our children and families and brings an end to children being exposed to harmful content and unhelpful contact. This along with the phone band we put in back in 2021 is a further help towards safeguarding our children.

We have loved welcoming our new 2026 Reception parents over the last two evenings. It has been fantastic to introduce families to life at St Michael's and help support their child's transition to school. We are looking forward to our final parent event this evening and meeting even more families joining the St Michael's Community 😊
