Bournemouth Language School

We have had the pleasure of teaching Thaline (from Brazil 🇧🇷) for the last two weeks! Thaline is an intensive care doctor from Sao Paulo who took our Medical English course to help her improve her professional knowledge. She worked very hard and learned a lot of vocabulary that we are certain will be useful to her ☺️

She was joined in her General English classes by a small group of students - two Iiulias, Jane, Elena, and Natalya - from the local area, who took the opportunity to become more comfortable with their English. It was a lovely group and we loved having everyone here!!

We are so sad that our "Sunshine" Waad from Saudi Arabia, who was studying with us for 6 months, left on Friday! This ambitious, intelligent and full of positive energy girl was always brightening up our days, even those rainy ones! We will miss her sense of humour and presence at BLS. We wish her all the best in her future career as a clinical psychologist!

Last week we said goodbye to this lovely group from Italy, near Milan. Energetic, positive and talented young people are what we love having here at BLS! We wish them all the best and every success for their future endeavours in improving their English skills. Special thanks to the group's devoted leaders Cristina and Melinda who made sure the students had the best time in Bournemouth!

One of our latest graduates Suleiman from Saudi Arabia has improved his English within 2 months with the help of our amazing teachers! His positive smile was always brightening our days.

He was always playing football after lessons to achieve his aim of becoming a professional footballer! We hope we'll see him playing in the World Cup one day! Good luck Suleiman!

Say hello to our lovely group from France! They'll be learning with us for the next two weeks. They are all hard working young people studying English in the mornings and doing some work experience for charity shops in the afternoons.

Aren't they sweet?

After 6 months we had to say goodbye to Prapa, our student from Thailand. We are especially proud of how her pronunciation has improved since we first met her. Her progress at speaking skills was really outstanding!

She made friends with everyone and all of our staff and students loved being around this giggly and positive person!

We wish her all the best and hope she'll come back one day to study with us again.

Sonja from Switzerland was studying with us for 10 weeks! It was her life's dream to come to study English in England and she finally accomplished that dream! She has visited a lot of famous sights and said she really loved Bournemouth's nature. She said that the best excursions for her were Hengistbury Head, Mudeford Sandbanks, Corfe Castle and the walk from Swanage via Old Harry Rocks to Bournemouth. She kindly shared some of the photos she took of the area with us which you can see in this post.

Her confidence in speaking English as well as her grammar awareness have improved a lot during this time and we are really proud of her achievements. She was always smiley and positive and brought a lot of joy to our school. She is already greatly missed! We wish her all the best!
