In tutor time this week, students have been learning about Trooping the Colour: exploring British heritage, pageantry, and the role of the monarchy.

⚽ As the excitement builds for the FIFA World Cup 2026, we're celebrating our own passion for football here at school!

Are you currently in Year 5 and thinking about joining Avonbourne in September 2027? Come and experience life at Avonbourne Boys' and Girls' Academies at our exciting Year 5 Taster Evenings!

📅 Avonbourne Boys' Academy – Monday 6th July
📅 Avonbourne Girls' Academy – Tuesday 7th July
🕔 5:15pm – 7:30pm

The evening will include:
🍕☕ Pizza for students and refreshments for parents
👋 Meet key staff and learn more about life at Avonbourne
📚 Take part in two exciting taster lessons led by our subject specialists
⚠️ Booking opens on our website this Friday at 9:00am and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Some taster subjects have limited availability, so don't delay!

Once registered, a confirmation email with your child's place and allocated taster lessons will be sent at the beginning of July.

We can't wait to welcome you to Avonbourne and give you a taste of what makes our academies so special! 💙

We are so proud of our Year 11s throughout this exam period! 💙

At the end of last half term, students received their leavers hoodies – a special moment to celebrate everything they’ve achieved so far. Their hard work and resilience throughout this exam period has been incredible. We wish all our students the best of luck for their final exams.

We can’t wait to celebrate together again on Leavers Day on 24th June 🎉

Last year, he sat in this hall completing his GCSE exams. Today, he walked back through the doors with JP Morgan to lead an assembly and help prepare our Year 9 students for next week’s Mock Interviews.
