🌟 Reception Open Morning – September 2026 Starters 🌟
We are delighted to invite parents and carers of children starting Reception in September 2026 to our upcoming Open Morning at our wonderful primary school!
This is a chance to come and see the school in action, meet the friendly staff and get a real feel for the warm, inclusive and nurturing community that makes our school so special.
As parents and members of the PTA, we’re incredibly proud of how welcoming, representative and supportive our school is — every child is known, valued and encouraged to thrive as their true self! 💛

The St Michael's School Summer Fair - Friday 11th July, 5:00–7:30pm ✨
This year, we’re bringing the colour, energy, and joy of CARNIVAL to St Michael’s, and you’re invited! Expect a dazzling evening packed with music , dancing, delicious food and fun for the whole family . Carnival is all about community, celebration, and togetherness—just like our amazing school ❤️.
There’ll be something for everyone: hair braiding, henna hands, face painting, carnival mask crafts, toy stalls, a piñata sweet stall, a flag hunt bingo trail, and a bouncy castle and assault course to bounce the night away! Try your luck at our circus-style game stalls to win prizes, enjoy live musical performances and don’t miss the beats from the one and only DJ Evans! 🎧🔥
✨ Come dressed to impress in bright colours or traditional carnival outfits from your culture —we’d love to see the playground bursting with colour, pride, and joy! 🎈🥳
Let’s make it a summer evening to remember—see you there!

The Great Tail Trail! And our lovely school are taking part! 🎨

📣 ONE MONTH TO GO!! In just one month's time, The Great Tail Trail will be hitting the shores of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. More than 40 giant mermaid tail sculptures make a splash from 5th April - 1st June in an exciting community art adventure in aid of Julia's House Children's Hospice and delivered in partnership with Wild in Art. You'll be able trek the trail, collect tails and rewards, upload selfies and vote for your favourite design on the Great Tail Trail app which will be released nearer the time, but for now keep your fin on the pulse by signing up to our Tail Mail newsletter and following us on socials!
