Festivities at Park Penguins was a great success, with children making a penguin Christmas decoration whilst listening to the Park School choir sing festive songs. They enjoyed eating gingerbread made by our School chef and even had a visit from Father Christmas and his elf. Every child went home cuddling their very own Park Penguin!

We look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year when our sessions start again, on Friday 12th January. Over the summer holidays, Park School have been busy with holiday clubs, such as visits to Forest School!

Children have had the pleasure of learning all things nature and had ago at their own woodworking, gardening and even fire-starting.

Park School & Nurseries would like to invite you to Park Penguins Playgroup.

Open to children aged 5 and under, it will be a chance for them to socialise with other children while taking part in different themes each week.

These playgroups will take place every Friday beginning on the 15th of September 2023.

Our very own Park School Plodders have raised an amazing £591 for YoungMinds and The Brain Tumour Charity in their recent charity walk across 15km of Bournemouth's coastline - and some furry friend's joined in too!

They walked through wind, rain and sunshine while raising money for two very important charities.

In a recent end of year assembly, Headteacher Mrs Dowler thanked our year group ambassadors for their work this year and for modelling our school virtues. At Park, we live by our virtues to inspire our pupils to become responsible, reflective and successful adults.

Our children are P.A.R.K - Polite, Ambitious, Resilient and Kind. These virtues go hand in hand with the new skills learned and friendships made, enabling every pupil to approach the next stage of their education with confidence, determination and respect. As our Year 6 girls and boys prepared to leave for their next adventure, they were treated to a day of fun at the end of term that was filled with laughter, dancing and playing. The end of the school year is always bittersweet but we're sure that our eldest pupils will go on to achieve academic success in the next stage of their education, taking with them dozens of memories from their time here at Park.

We wish them all the best of luck in their future endeavours, and are looking forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces when we return in September.

We're proud to announce that we recently hosted our final ABRSM exam day for the year! 22 talented Park girls and boys took exams in a wide variety of instruments that included the cornet, cello, violin, piano, guitar and saxophone.

Huge congratulations goes to each and every pupil as they all passed and collectively we gained 11 Passes, 9 Passes with Merit and 2 Passes with Distinction, which is brilliant. Congratulations all!
