Super proud of all our top-turtles turtles at Upton Junior School 🐢 🥳

🎶🌟 SUMMER MUSIC SUCCESS! 🌟🎶

What a fantastic summer it has been for some of our young musicians! A number of pupils continued with their instrumental lessons over the holidays, and every pupil involved made great progress. 👏🎵

A HUGE congratulations to those who also achieved their music gradings:

🥁 Alex P – Grade 4 Drums – Merit
🥁 Millie S – Grade 3 Drums – Merit
🥁 Eden P – Grade 2 Drums – Merit
🥁 Joseph D – Debut Drums – Merit
🎶 Alex P – Grade 3 Clarinet – Distinction

Music gradings are challenging and require focus, practice and dedication. These fantastic results reflect the hard work of our pupils, the support they receive at home and the guidance of their instrumental teachers. A brilliant team effort all round! ❤️🎶

We are incredibly proud of every pupil who continued learning and practising over the summer. Whether working towards an exam or simply developing their skills, every bit of progress deserves celebrating!

Well done everyone! 🎶👏🌟

Top Turtle Alert! 🐢🚨

A huge congratulations to Joel!

We're absolutely thrilled to share that Joel has passed his Grade 8 Bass Guitar exam with Distinction – and not just any distinction, but with distinction in every single area of the grading!

This is an incredible achievement, made even more impressive by the fact that Joel has only just turned 16. His dedication, talent, and hard work have truly paid off.

Joel is now setting his sights on his Grade 8 Piano, and we wish him all the best as he prepares for his next musical milestone.

Well done, Joel – we’re so proud of you!

It's official: we have had another record number of top turtles complete their music gradings this year! 🐢 🥳 Currently, since our debut, our pass rate still sits at 100%. We are so proud of everyone involved.

This is Joel (15 years old), currently preparing a stylistic study piece for his grade 8 exam. Definitely a star in the making.

Wow, what a year it’s been! Our pupil numbers have grown at an exponential rate, and we have celebrated over 25 successful gradings across a variety of instruments!

This is Louie, who only started learning drums in January. Not only did Louie pass his grade 1 with distinction a couple of months ago, but he is about to take his grade 2! We wish you the best of luck, Louie🙂
