It’s that time of year to reintroduce myself 👋🏼

Hello!

I'm Sophie, an experienced local teacher and tutor offering in-person tuition for primary maths and English, and 11+ preparation. I provide small group tuition during term time and school holidays for Years 4 to 6. In school holidays, l open up my calendar for
1-1 sessions for children from Year 4 to Year 6 - these sessions are open to all. I am also registered with BCP as an Alternative Provision provider, where parents, schools or children's services may reach out for support with holistic tuition for children who do not currently have a suitable school place.
I am based in Winton, Bournemouth, with my lovable cats, who enjoy getting involved with learning during tuition sessions. I am most passionate about building children's confidence and self-esteem because children who believe in themselves will always learn and make progress. I share my love of reading with my tutees to encourage their passion for this essential life skill. My older readers and I regularly swap books that we have enjoyed so you will often find me reading in the garden!
