Welcome!! I am a working drummer with over 25 years of live gigging experience with a range of bands. I am currently available to take on some students with a particular emphasis on learning songs and getting them playing in a band! Playing with other musicians is by far the best way to learn and is so much more fun than practicing stuff with no clear goals to work towards. By learning songs, students should be able to develop rudimentary techniques, become much more versatile, develop a much better ear for music and will become a much more accomplished player than working on the theory alone and following the approach that many drum tutors take.
I really want to engage my students and make lessons fun and therefore will tailor them to the individual and allow them to take the lead by working comfortably at their pace.
