Whilst putting together a collage for a recent presentation, I asked one of my present clients if she could send a review for me to use alongside others. I wanted to share this with you as it echoes our ethos perfectly and sums up exactly what we hope to achieve here at Primary Home Tutoring. Thanks for your time:

I arranged for Guy to tutor my 8 year old daughter after her teacher noticed that she had lost a lot of confidence in her abilities and her results had started to drop. Guy’s support has been invaluable. He has worked with my daughter at her own pace, taking the time to patiently break down the work she was finding difficult and make sure she had a solid understanding to build on. Along the way he has given her lots of positive feedback, which has really built up her confidence. Her school report is looking much healthier, and more importantly she has rediscovered a love of learning, particularly with maths (previously her least favorite subject). While I worried that she would find tutoring a chore, she really looks forward to her sessions with Guy as he makes the work fun for her. Thanks Guy for helping her to get her confidence back!

This was a memorial sent to me by Mrs C. Eckman. I wanted to share it with you as it demonstrates perfectly what we look to achieve at Primary Home Tutoring. Remember, a child's abilities come second to the belief they have in their abilities. Thanks Corene, "Guy has tutored our eldest son for about two years. He has worked with him on various aspects of literacy and numeracy in year 1 and 2, and made great progress - but the areas where he has had the most impact has really been on his confidence and enjoyment of learning. Using a variety of different methods, topics and media, Guy has made learning fun! He has coaxed out ideas and developed in him a sense that he is good at maths and reading and helped him tackle tricky problems to stretch him further. Guy is a pleasure to have round every week and is always punctual and professional. Our son has really looked forward to his weekly sessions - high praise indeed - and we can wholeheartedly recommend him!"
