Art teacher Lily will be at Painting in the Park on Saturday 22nd August and would love to see some of our school families there!

It's a free, family friendly event with art activities for all ages and all art materials are provided. Whether you stay for 20 minutes or the whole afternoon it's a wonderful opportunity to get creative together and enjoy the outdoors.

We hope to see lots of familiar faces there!

Afternoon Tea was served at Willoughby to friends from Wood Grange Care Home - Barchester Healthcare, Bourne, by Maple Class. This term we invited them to come to us and we baked cakes, served cups of tea and chatted all afternoon. We spent time planning what we would need, preparing the tables, baking cakes to enjoy and practised our conversational skills. Wood Grange complemented us on our scones and cheesecake, a nice cup of tea in a 'proper' cup and saucer and said what a pleasure it was.

It is the Willoughby School's summer fayre very soon and we are in need of some teddies/soft toys for our teddy tombola. If you have any you no longer need or feel that you can help at all we would really appreciate it. They can be collected in person or you can drop off at the school, whatever is more convenient for you.

We say a fond farewell to Pat today after 25 years at Willoughby, she will be sorely missed in Cedar and the wider Willoughby community. We send her all of our love and wishing her many adventures in the future!

🌿☕ Class Trip to Birch Tree Café ☕🌿

Sycamore class had a fantastic time on our recent trip to the Birch Tree Café! The children were full of excitement from the moment we arrived and enjoyed a lovely, warm welcome from the café staff.
They had the opportunity to explore, try delicious treats, and practice their social skills in a real‑life setting. From ordering their own snacks to sitting and chatting with friends, it was wonderful to see their confidence grow.

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and happy faces throughout the visit — a truly memorable experience for everyone involved!

A big thank you to Birch Tree Café for making our visit so special. 🌟
