MCAS Consents
Just a reminder for parents to please complete your updated consents by Monday 14th September. A copy of the letter is below, for your information:

We want to let you know about important updates to the consent you have given on MCAS. The main change is to do with photo permissions, following advice about potential misuse of images in relation to AI.
The consent you have already given has come to an end. What you need to do now is select Yes or No to the photo parental consents in MCAS. Any changes that affect images currently in use by the school will be actioned by the end of term.
We also ask you to provide medical emergency consent for your child. You will find this in the Data Collection Form under Medical. By giving consent you agree to emergency care being giving. This could include the use of an adrenaline auto-injector for a suspected anaphylactic reaction and the use of an inhaler in the event of an asthma attack. Even if consent is not given through MCAS, if a life-threatening emergency is suspected,
we will follow the advice of the emergency services.

You can now edit the other consents you have already given in other areas.

You have until Monday 14 September to make any changes.

Thank you for your patience while we navigate the new security gates and fencing. Please do NOT walk onto the school site via the vehicular gates - these are very heavy and this is not safe for adults or children.

You will notice this morning that the zig zags outside the school have been replaced by a single yellow line, with double yellow in some areas. These lines are enforceable and MUST NOT be parked on when dropping off and picking up children.

As it’s due to be a little cooler this week we would ask that the children come to school in uniform please.

REMINDER - Year 6 pool party tonight. Drop off 6:30pm, collect 8:15pm. All children must be collected by an adult - they will not be allowed to walk to meet an adult or walk home alone. Thank you.

Children can continue to wear their PE kit to school this week as temperatures are due to remain quite high.

You may have seen on the news that the release date of SATs results has been delayed until Thursday 16th July. Therefore, we will delay the distribution of the Year 6 reports until Friday 17th July so these results can be included.
