Noticing the good stuff matters. When your test comes back, pay particular attention to the stuff you got right. Focussing only on what you got wrong erodes positivity and resilience. We don't want to ignore the stuff we got incorrect on a test, we need to tackle it (take decisive action to correct or imporve) BUT focussing too much on the faults, the stuff we get wrong can make us feel overwhelmed and lead to a sense of hopelessness. Focus on the questions or topics you got correct and allow yourself some praise. Then, look at how you can correct the things that were incorrect and allow yourself to feel empowered; if you can get question 4 correct, you will be able to get question 5 correct by taking decisive action towards that goal.
