🌞🐿️ School's Out for Summer! 🐿️🌞

Squirrels had so much fun using Makaton signs to sing along to ‘School’s Out!’.

It has been wonderful to see our children be creative, work together and build their confidence throughout the year in our after school club. We are so proud of every single child.

As we say goodbye for the summer, we'd like to thank all of you for all your support throughout this year.

☀️ We wish everyone a fun-filled, relaxing and safe summer holiday! We hope that you make lots of happy memories, enjoy the sunshine and come back refreshed for more adventures in September.

🏡 Early Years Needs Your Help! 💛

We're excited to be developing a cosy home corner in our Reception classroom and Nursery to create an even richer role-play environment for our children. To help bring our vision to life, we're looking for donations of small-scale furniture and homely items that are no longer needed.

We're particularly looking for items such as:
🪑 Small chairs
📚 Small bookcases
☕ Nest of tables or coffee tables
🛋️ Rugs and cushions
🪴 Artificial plants
🏠 Homely accessories and décor/ kitchen accessories and play food

As classroom space is limited, any furniture would need to be child-sized or small in scale. If you have anything you could donate, we'd be incredibly grateful. Every contribution, big or small, will help us create a wonderful learning environment where our children can play, imagine and thrive.

Please get in touch with the school office or drop any donations into Reception.

🚑 Today the Bats Class welcomed one of our parents (who is a qualified first aid trainer) to lead our first aid training which brought our learning to life. The children are now more aware of what they can do to help when someone becomes ill - including being able to put an adult in the recovery position!

Today, we were delighted to welcome our Reception Cohort 2026 for their Stay and Play session! 🌟

The children had a fantastic afternoon, keeping busy as builders by making and repairing roads before stepping into the role of café owners and serving up lots of imaginative fun. It was wonderful to see their creativity shine and to watch the first friendships begin to blossom.

We can't wait to welcome them back in September and begin their exciting journey with us! 💙✨

Year 6s from Stickney Primary School and New Leake Primary School came together for an amazing year 6 leavers party, there was lots of dancing, pizza, chicken nuggets, cookies and a fantastic cake decorated and donated by one of our parents.
