Evolution Martial Arts Evolution Martial Arts is a not for profit Kickboxing and Fitness Club in Boston open to all ages and abilities in an amazing atmosphere.

All classes are split into age groups from 5 years old to adults! Located in Boston, Evolution Martial Arts, is not for profit and run by volunteers. The family friendly club provides classes for all ages and abilities whether you wish to fight, get fit, learn a martial art, or one day achieve a black belt. Why not come along and learn a new sport, get fit, improve your self confidence, meet new p

eople and have some fun. Evolution Martial Arts is home to Team Great Britain members, current WAKO Kickboxing World, European and British Champions. 🇬🇧 A NEW CHAPTER FOR BRITISH KICKBOXING 🇬🇧

Following considerable discussion and deliberation by the Kickboxing GB Board, we are pleased to announce an important development for the future of British kickboxing.

In 2027, Kickboxing GB will host TWO major national events.

📍 27–28 February 2027: Kickboxing GB British Championships
Ponds Forge Sports Centre, Sheffield (Selection & Qualification Event)

📍 24–25 April 2027: Kickboxing GB National Open Championships (Selection & Qualification Event)
Warwick University, Coventry

This is not a decision that has been made lightly. The Board has carefully considered what is needed to continue developing our sport, creating meaningful opportunities for our athletes and clubs, and building a stronger competitive pathway within the UK.

We believe this structure is the right move to elevate kickboxing in the UK; providing a clear and prestigious official British Championship, alongside a second major event designed to support selection, qualification, and athlete development.

We know that with change comes questions.

•⁠ ⁠How will selection work?
•⁠ ⁠What does this mean for athletes?
•⁠ ⁠What are the requirements for each event?

We’re listening, and we want to make this as clear and transparent as possible. A comprehensive FAQ covering selection, eligibility, pathways and all the important details will be released shortly.

For now, we simply wanted to share the news.

One British Champion. Two National events. One vision for the future of British kickboxing. 🇬🇧
