🎉Boston High School Celebrates A Level Success as Students Take Their Next Steps🎉
Students at Boston High School are celebrating their A Level and CTEC results today following another year of hard work, commitment and achievement across the school's successful and thriving Sixth Form.
Headline results:
âś…55% of grades achieved were A*-C across all subjects.
âś…Outstanding individual achievements across a broad range of subjects, including Art, Spanish, English Literature, Religious Studies, and Health & Social Care.
âś…A number of students achieved exceptional A Level and CTEC outcomes, securing places at university and on their chosen career pathways.
âś…Strong performances across both academic and vocational subjects, reflecting the breadth and strength of the Sixth Form curriculum.
âś…Students have achieved results that will enable them to take the next exciting step in their education, training, and careers.
Among the many successes celebrated today are several students whose achievements reflect their dedication and determination throughout their Sixth Form studies. Edith achieved an outstanding A*AA (Psychology, Business Studies, Religious Studies) while Freya also secured A*AA (Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics). Aadya achieved an excellent A*AB (Psychology, Biology, Chemistry). Nayana achieved A*AB (Sociology, Psychology, Mathematics), Victoria achieved AAAB (English Literature, Spanish, Polish, History), and Sania celebrated an impressive AAA (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics).
The school is particularly proud of the success seen across a number of subjects. Students studying Art produced work of exceptional creativity and originality, while those taking Spanish demonstrated impressive linguistic skills and cultural understanding. Strong outcomes were also achieved in English Literature and Religious Studies, where students excelled in analysis, interpretation, and debate. In Health & Social Care, students achieved excellent results, demonstrating both strong academic performance and a clear commitment to careers centred on supporting others.
Behind the results are the individual stories of students who have embraced every opportunity available to them during their Sixth Form journey. Some have balanced academic studies alongside part-time work, leadership responsibilities, and enrichment activities, while others have overcome personal challenges to achieve their goals.
Students will now move on to a wide range of destinations and pathways, reflecting the breadth of opportunities available through the Sixth Form. These include places at universities across the country, including Russell Group institutions, as well as higher and degree apprenticeships, employment, and specialist training programmes.
This year's Year 13 students will be studying an exciting and diverse range of courses, including Accounting, Acting, Archaeology, Criminology, Actuarial Sciences, Engineering, Fashion Design, Geography, English Literature, Law, Marketing and Public Relations, Medicine, Midwifery, Teaching, Philosophy, Psychology, Sport and Exercise Science, and Zoology. Our students have secured places at a variety of highly regarded institutions, including the University of Sheffield, University of Edinburgh, University of York, University of Leeds, Kings College London, University of Durham, and University of Liverpool, alongside many other universities and training providers across the UK.
Boston High School is particularly proud that students have been able to pursue destinations that reflect their individual ambitions and interests, whether that is progressing into higher education, entering the workplace, or beginning an apprenticeship that combines further study with practical experience.
