Great news! As part of the UKSPF GRASSroots Grant Fund, we are pleased to announce that Lincolnshire Community Foundation has awarded us £13,990.

We will be using this funding to complete our Treehouse Project. This is something we started around a year ago with local businesses supporting us to build the framework as the base for the treehouse. With this crucial funding we will now be able build the main structure, fit the roof, install windows and doors and fit out internally. The space will include a kitchen area for preparing hot drinks and food for our adult gardening clubs. Even more excitingly it will create a warm space with comfortable seating and tables where we can run children's crafting clubs, story times, and generally have a quieter space for children to escape to, as part of our ongoing education and enrichment programme.

We are humbled every time we receive a grant of this type, it helps us expand and reach more children and adults in our community, and underpins all the work we are doing.

We've started final planning now and materials procurement is underway. Our contractor for the project is raring to go and we will me making a start with the build in Dec with offsite constructions of the walls. We will begin the on-site erectrion in early Jan. We will document the build as it comes along and look forward to an opening party in Spring!
