This is the face I pull when something doesn’t go to plan!!
A week today I will be paddling 50km on the river Witham with Ramblings Of A Broken Hiker!
Sadly my trusted 14x29 iSUP has decided to not play ball.
A hard to repair puncture means that I don’t currently have a board to complete the challenge.
So I am on the beg!!
Does anyone have a 14x27 or similar that I could borrow for Sunday???
Failing that would any companies like to Sponsor me a new board???
Any help is welcomed!!
I’m getting to a point where I may be doing it on a 10’6 school board!!

So what an anti-climax!!!
The filming that was supposed to happen at 4pm was cancelled at around 3:30pm!!
Meaning it was too late to cancel the troops!
I want to say thank you to these legends that turned out to support me in their own time for what turned out to be nothing.
In the spirit of making lemonade when served a lemon we all made the most of babysitters and short dog walks by doing a swift two miles for fun anyway.
Thanks to Peter, Claire Wingate and Ben for turning out last minute!!

We are back on for the Telly box.
Only problem is we will be shooting at Antons Gowt at 4pm!!
I will try and tag a load of peeps under this but please just come down.
There will be no “lesson” or spare kit. I am under the cosh a little this afternoon so won’t have time to prep!
And I haven’t got a clue what will be asked of us!
Just be aware this is probably not for newbies!

Fancy getting yourself on the telly box??
The last time I got any news coverage was for Dandy! Our seal friend!!
I have the chance of some filming for TV next week but need some willing participants to come down to Antons and paddle!!
The only kicker is it will have to be Tuesday or Wednesday!
Anyone in school hols or on annual leave next week fancy coming down and helping out??
I will confirm the day once I have looked at the weather and spoken with the crew!!

I haven’t done a post about this yet but just before Christmas, in that last super cold snap, I fired up the van early one Saturday and I headed to the coast.
I had a very happy couple of hours in the surf and just as I got out there were a couple of photographers shooting the waves!
I ran up to them and asked if they would grab some snaps of me if I went back out.
They were happy to and I was super happy because it’s not often (especially on the east coast) that you get photos of your surf session!!
So here are a select few from that session!!!
