🎒 Starting School Meet-Up Sessions – Don’t Forget to Book! 🌿

Our Reception meet-up sessions are coming up soon and places are already being booked! 🤍

If your little one is starting school this September, these are relaxed, no-pressure play sessions giving children the chance to meet some of their new classmates before that big first day — and parents can meet and connect too.

Sometimes just recognising one friendly face can make starting school feel that little bit less daunting. 🥰

📍 Gipsey Bridge – 24th Aug | 12–2pm
📍 Butterwick Primary – 24th Aug | 3–5pm
📍 Old Leake Primary – 25th Aug | 12–2pm
📍 Sibsey – 25th Aug | 3–5pm
📍 Tower Road – 27th Aug | 3–5pm

👧 Siblings are very welcome to come along too.

These sessions are not organised by or linked to the schools — they’re simply informal meet-ups arranged following requests from local parents.

What better way to celebrate the last day of primary school for year 6 than sharing their sports day pictures. A great afternoon for all and was lovely to see so much support for them.

Good afternoon, Year 6 Parents and Carers

Just a quick update to let you know that the Year 6 Graduation will now take place at St Mary’s Church, Old Leake, 17th July, 10:00am.

I would also like to confirm that children do not need to wear school uniform for the event. The dress code is smart casual.

🌟 **What an incredible Sports Day!** 🌟

A huge congratulations to everyone who took part in today's Sports Day. Your hard work, determination, resilience, and fantastic sportsmanship was amazing to see. Every participant gave their best, and you should all be incredibly proud of your achievements.

Most importantly, fun was had by all!

A heartfelt thank you to all of our parents and carers for coming along to support the children. Your enthusiasm and encouragement helped create such a positive atmosphere and made the day even more special.

Well done to everyone involved for making Sports Day such a fantastic success! 🏅🎉

Reception and Seedlings Nursery had a fantastic Sports Day this morning! 🏃☀️

There were so many smiling faces, lots of laughter, and an incredible amount of enthusiasm and effort from everyone taking part. We are so proud of every single child who raced—and a big well done to the younger siblings and the grown-ups who joined in the fun too!

Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a wonderful morning! 🌟

Roll up, roll up! 🎪 Pupils had a brilliant time this week mastering plate spinning, diabolos, juggling balls, and balancing feathers during our visiting Circus Skills Workshop. It was fantastic watching them build resilience, teamwork, and hand-eye coordination while having bundles of fun!

A great musical day for all in school today. We had a visitor who showed us how to play the djembe. Each class were able to follow rhythms and patterns and KS2 performed to parents at the end of the school day.

Yesterday Year 4/5 had the pleasure of being taught French from some year 10 students from Boston High School. They looked at colours, numbers and animals.
