The Home Nursery

Preschool are getting super excited for their trip to Skegness, which is next Thursday.

This week they practiced their walk to the train station and got to see a train stop and passengers get off. 🚂

The wet weather this week brought out some bugs for Toddlers to explore.

They were really fascinated with a slug they found and they all showed curiosity to hold it.

This also influenced some lovely new vocabulary and questions.

"Slimy", "Shiny", "Slow", and "Long".
"Where is it's House?"

Boston in Bloom

Preschool helped out Boston in Bloom at the Local Park. They helped pull out all the weeds, making space for some beautiful Marigolds.

They were all curious, using their senses to explore all the different flowers and they even found a snail and some baby snails.

The children discovered a wriggly caterpillar in the garden and found him some leaves to munch on. We then needed to name our latest member of Pre-School room and the children decided on COLIN!

The babies had a wonderful time exploring the park in the sunshine! ☀️
They are looking forward to more walks to the park now the weather is getting warmer.

🌍 🚀 International Space Day 🚀🌍

Pre-School had great fun making rockets out of boxes. They worked together to decorate them, then pretended to go to space whilst singing ‘zoom zoom zoom we’re going to the moon’. 🌙

The staff and children had the most fantastic time and are still talking about it now!

What a lovely morning we’ve had!! Our garden is all ready for some Summer fun, thanks to Kelly and Marcus for all their help and hard work today!! We think it looks rather fabulous and can’t wait for you all to see it on Monday!! 🥰🥰🥰
