Tawny Owls have been so lucky this term to have Boston United come and teach them some football skills. Today we had an end of term treat and they brought their mascot to visit us!

Reminder for tomorrow...

On Thursday 11th December it is ‘Save the Children – Christmas Jumper Day’. On this day, the children are welcome to wear a Christmas Jumper or something that is a Christmas colour. We will be learning about what this day is for as well as doing some fun Christmas activities. If your child does not have anything Christmassy to wear, please come and see Ella who has a small selection of Christmas clothes that can be used. We are asking for a small voluntary contribution as a donation towards the charity – we are hoping to raise £50 across the nursery.

Also, we would like to invite the children and their families back on the evening of Thursday 11th December at 5pm for some Christmas cheer. The children have been learning some Christmas songs and therefore we would like to have a ‘sing-along’ together around a Christmas Tree to celebrate Christmas together. Please let your child’s class teacher know if you can come.

Barn Owls had a fantastic end of year party on Monday 🥳The children enjoyed dancing, pass the parcel, a magical water unicorn and bubbles 🫧There were smiles all round 🥰

Reminder

Little Owls and Barn Owls - it is your last day of the year tomorrow (Monday 21st July)😀

Tawny Owls - We have our school leavers party on Tuesday. There are no normal sessions running this day. You can arrive from 10am with your families. Between 10 and 11.30am there will be some activities for you to enjoy. Please note, you don't have to be there at 10am, you can come whenever you would like during this time.
At 11.30am there will then be a little picnic for the children to enjoy. Following on from this there will be a small presentation and the children will sing a couple of songs.
At 1pm there will be an ice-cream van for the children (one free ice-cream per child) for you to enjoy and then after this you are free to go home and enjoy your summer break. ☀️
We look forward to celebrating with you at your party!

We would like to let you know that Boston Smile Centre the Dental Practice are now taking on Children on the NHS with the Therapist we have at the Practice.

Tawny Owl's have had a super day celebrating our Federation Day and the 30th birthday of the nursery. We have made '30' headbands, counted to thirty, made a delicious cake with our fresh strawberries, decorated the number 30 with natural resources and sat on our new Federation Day bench! 🍓🎂

We would like to say a huge thank you to Dyson Farming at Carrington for kindly donating 40 punnets of delicious strawberries. It's safe to say our children have loved them!
