DAY 2 at The Lincolnshire Show

We had another brilliant day at The Lincolnshire Show with group 2 making candles, badges and sampling honey lemonade in the beekeepers tent, watching a parachute tunt show, sampling Dyson strawberries and meeting the Dyson robot as well as learning all about the national grid and racing each other on the bikes, exploring the Army area and welcoming the public to our Food Miles Challenge display. The judges were really impressed with the confidence shown by the children when they explored all our hard work.

We had a brilliant time at the Lincolnshire Show today, sharing our Food Miles Challenge to the public in the education centre. We also had time to look around the show and have an ice cream! We are looking forward to taking group 2 tomorrow for our presentation to judges and attending the awards ceremony, and also finding time to meet the animals at the show.

YEAR 3 ROMAN LEARNING

On Tuesday, Year 3 have Those History People coming in to deliver yet another brilliant workshop about life during the Roman invasion of Britain.

To prepare, we learnt about how the Roman army were so successful in their invasions. The children then made their own unique shields (scutums).

YEAR 5/6 GIRLS CRICKET

🌟WINNERS!🌟
The girls were winners of the Boston and District schools tournament at Boston Cricket Club today. They now go on to represent the district in the Lincolnshire County Cup in a few weeks.
