We are set on an acre of grounds and situated on the outskirts of Boston towards Fishtoft, giving us the luxury of a semi-rural location..

Established in 2002, Hawthorn Tree Community Children’s Centre is an independent registered charity providing childcare and education services for children aged 0-11 years. Our newly built, single storey setting opened its doors in November 2020. Each of our three playrooms has double doors providing children with direct access to the outside area. Together with floor to ceiling windows, this ensu

res the play space is light and airy with views of our natural surroundings. Our rooms are newly furnished to meet the individual children’s needs, with accessible storage and appropriately sized furniture. Equally, our new resources have been carefully selected to provide children with a wide range of opportunities for exploration, play, learning and development. Our highly trained staff use this enabling environment to support children’s learning and development following the HighScope approach. HighScope is a way of working with children based on the idea that they learn best from activities which they plan and carry out themselves. By doing this, children gain an awareness of their skills and discover that they are capable learners who can make decisions and solve problems in a way that is personally meaningful to them. The provision we offer places the child and their family at the centre of our service; ensuring we support them and the community we serve. By working in partnership with families and other services, we aim to ensure we provide a high-quality service that is tailored to meet the individual needs of the children and their families.

It feels impossible to believe that the time has come to say goodbye. It seems like only yesterday you were taking your first little steps through our doors, and now you’re ready to spread your wings and begin an exciting new chapter.

Each and every one of you has brought your own special kind of magic to HTCCC. Through your laughter, your imagination, your endless curiosity and the little moments that made us smile every single day, you’ve filled our setting and our hearts with happiness in ways you’ll never truly know. Watching you grow in confidence, discover the world around you, and become the wonderful people you are today has been the greatest privilege.

As you step into school life, remember this: you are brave, brilliant, and completely unique. Never stop wondering, never stop exploring, and never stop being exactly who you are.

Thank you for the unforgettable memories - we’ve loved every moment with you.
