🧙‍♀️ In today's Halloween special session we....

👻🎃 💀 Searched for spooky things in the geli-bath 💀 🎃👻

🪄 We made and decorated magic wands 🪄

👽 Practiced our cutting skills with our spaghetti monsters 👽

🕸 🕷 Made spider webs out of sticks and clay and cute little spiders out of pinecones to live in them 🕷 🕸

🎃 🔨 Practiced our hammering skills to decorate our pumpkins using golf tees and buttons and nails 🔨 🎃

🍂 Autumn leave fire jars 🍂

🔥 We finished our session with S'Mores cooked around the fire with our story of the week... The Room on the Broom written by Julia Donaldson 🔥

🐦Today's session was all about birds 🐦

🦚We made and decorated some wooden bird magnets🦚

🐦We made pinecone bird feeders to take home and hang in our gardens..... which birds will come and vist you?🐦

🐦🦜We painted handprint Robins and Bluetits along with some other fabulous birds!!🦜🐦

🪶🐦We went birdspotting with our handmade boniculars🐦🪶

🦉Made tree cookie owls 🦉

🔥We ended our session with popcorn cooked on the fire and our story today... 'A bird like me'written by Lucy Collins.🔥

🐞🐛🐜Today we explored the fantastic world of minibeasts🐞🐛🐜

🪱We made worms out of conkers🪱

🦋Made minibeasts puppets🦋

🕷Explored in our Muddy toes minibeasts sensory tray🕷

🪱🐜🐛🐞Went on lots of bugs hunts and found a huge range of minibeasts living at forest school🪱🐜🐛🐞

🏨🪲Made and decorated our new bug hotel🪲🏨

🪲🐞🐛Using the playdough mats we made a variety of minibeasts along with some other marvelous creations 🪲🐞🐛

🔥We ended or session with crumpets cooked on the fire with yummy homemade blackberry Jam🔥

🍂Today we celebrated all things autumn 🍂

🍂🎃🍁We explored in our Autumn tuff tray🍁🎃🍁

🍂We Experimented with our diffusing Autumn leaves using colouring pens and water 🍂

☄️We made conker comets☄️

🪵🍂We Explored our forest school site for all the signs of Autumn.
We used journey bracelets and Autumn colour hunt cards to collect our treasures we found🍂🪵

🍂🐿🦔We made some beautiful Autumn wreaths using the gorgeous Autumn leaves growing around our Forest school along with some autumnal stickers🐿🦔🍂

🍫🔥We ended our snack with hot chocolate and S'mores and did some Autumn leaves dancing🔥🍫

Today's session was all about our amazing woodland animals 🦔🐿🦊

🍁🐿🦔We made some fantastic woodland animal leaf collages🦔🐿🍁

🌳🪵We discovered whereabouts woodland animals live and how they make their nests. Then made some homes for the animals we brought to Forest school today🪵🌳

🦝🐇🦊🐿🦔We painted a range of different woodland animals🦔🐿🦊🐇🦝

🦔We made clay hedgehogs and used sticks, rosemary and leaves as spikes🦔

🐿🦔🦊🐇🦝We made and decorated some wooden woodland creatures to take home🦝🐇🦊🦔🐿

🍎🍫We ended our session with yummy chocolate and rasin apples cooked on the campfire. Followed by a game of 'where's the woodland animal hiding' and learned a new song 'I'm a little hedgehog'🍫🍎

Today's session was our last one until September so we decided to have a Beach party 🥳. ..

🪙💎We searched for buried treasure in the sand💎🪙

🐠We made some fantastic Jellyfish and Fish puppets🐠

🐡🐟🐠We used a variety of tools to break the ice so we could free the fish🐡🐟🐠

🐚🐢🌊We Explored under the sea with Jelly bath with a range of sea creatures and shells🌊🐢🐚

🍨🍦We visited the Ice Cream Parlour and made some very tasty looking ice creams 🍦🍨

🧺We ended our session with a picnic style snack and some parachute games🧺

🌈In today's glorious colour session in the sunshine we...🌈

🌸🌳Went on a nature colour hunt🌳🌸

🐘🌈We decorated our Elmer the Elephant pictures using a rainbow of coloured tissue paper🌈🐘

🌈We Explored in our rainbow rice sensory tray🌈

🐘💧We painted a rainbow of colours on our Elmer the Elepants and then gave then a bath💧🐘

☮️Everyone made very colourful tye dye creations, we can't wait to see how they turn out next week ☮️

🌈🍉We ended our session with smoothies and watermelon followed by some colour parachute games🍉 🌈

💐In today's beautiful Flower session we....💐

🌼🌸💧Watered the flowers💧🌸🌼

🌻✨️We made and decorated some wooden flower wands🌻✨️

🌼🌸We painted some glorious flower paintings using the flower stamps 🌸🌼

💐🌟Explored and made some very magical flower potions using a variety of flowers, coloured water and glitter🌟💐

🧊🏵Experimented with ice flowers trying different ways of melting the ice🏵🧊

🕯We made some very beautiful flower candles which will be ready next week as it was so hot today the wax took way longer to set!!🕯

🥕We ended our session with our snack houmous, breadsticks and carrots 🥕

🚍In Today's 'Things that go' session we.....,🚍

⚽️🚜🚗Experimented with different sized tubes and slides to see which objects slid down the fastest and slowest🚗🚜⚽️

🚗We decorated a wooden car to take home🚗

🗯We created different sized bubbles and watched then blow in so many directions away with the wind🗯

🌈We made some very colourful wind streamers🌈

👷‍♀️🏗👷‍♂️Played and explored in the Muddy Toes construction site 👷‍♂️🏗👷‍♀️

🕯🌼We picked and pressed our flowers ready for next week's candle making 🌼🕯

🔥We ended our session with popcorn cooked on the campfire whist enjoying our story 'Graffies can't dance' and played a game of 'Chicken pie'🔥

💧In Today's Water session we........,💧

🍃🪨🪶Discovered what natural objects floated and sank🍃🪨🪶

🎣🐡We made fishing rods and tried to catch those pesky fish that kept floating away🐡🎣

⛈️We experimenting and explored with our storm clouds in a jar and where amazed how beautiful and different they all where⛈️

🦈🐠We walked the plank to dodge Bruce the shark and all his sea creature friend🐠🦈

⛵️We made stick rafts/boats and had lots.of fun racing them in the stream⛵️

💧We played in our 'rain tent' and listened to the sounds it made when water was poured on top💧

🔥🍫 We finished our session with scrummy hot chocolate and squrity cream and cooked marshmallows and cinnamon apples on the fire 🍫🔥

🍁🍃In Today's Leaf Session we....🍃🍁

🍃Made Leaf necklaces using a variety of leaves and mini shape hole punchers🍃

🍁Practiced our cutting skills on some enormous leaves!!🍁

🎨🍃Did some magic Leaf rubbings using a white wax crayons and paint🎨🍃

🍃 Made some sand art leaves 🍃

🥔 Our potatoes where ready to harvest so all the children helped and got to take some home for their dinner 🥔

🍍🥭🍓We finished our session with a refreshing fizzy fruit summer cocktail and read 'Elephant wellephant' written by Nick Sharratt.🍓🥭🍍
