Tweenie Room!
'The Snowman' themed tuff tray.⛄
Recently, we had lots of fun, in the Tweenie Room, exploring our tuff tray that was themed around our book of the month! ⛄❄

We develop the story from our Book of the month in many directions. With our focus on child led learning and all activities linked to our children’s current interest(s), we have endless opportunities to learn and have fun at the same time. All children’s input is valued and celebrated equally.

Just when you thought parenting couldn’t get any harder…..the Elf arrived!!!

Tried and tested easy last minute elf on the shelf ideas that you can do quickly and without spending a fortune!

Yesterday, some of the pre-school children ventured out on an autumnal walk to find some sticks! We collected sticks of all sizes and put them into bags to carry back to nursery.

The stick were, “wet because it was raining", so we let them dry before turning them into witch and wizard wands!

The children used their fine motor skills to twist the ribbons around their chosen sticks, then used tape to fasten them down. After taking their time to add their ribbons, the children added magic! (in the form of glitter!).

We let the glue dry before casting spells all afternoon!

This week in Boroughbridge, we welcomed Coach Tom from Kixx Harrogate!

All of the children, big and small, were very excited to get involved in this football session!

We used small cones as steering wheels to drive around the roundabouts before beeping the horn, by using our feet on the ball. We also used the ball, and our feet, to create the motion of window wipers! The children demonstrated the noises that these car parts would make before getting ready to score their goals!

The children waited patiently, listening for their names, for their turn to run super fast, and kick their ball as hard as they could into the goal at the bottom of the garden!
