๐ฎ๐ฑโจ Year 9 YCIT are home after an incredible two weeks in Israel! โจ๐ฎ๐ฑ
From the north to the south, our pupils journeyed across Israel exploring Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Sderot, Tzfat, the Kinneret, Masada, the Dead Sea and so much more. They walked in the footsteps of our forefathers, connected with the land and its history, hiked through breathtaking landscapes, discovered vibrant markets and created memories that will last a lifetime.
They learnt about the land, the people and the many layers of Israeli society, experiencing the strength of community, the power of solidarity and the resilience of those who call Israel home.
With endless ruach, countless songs, uplifting tefillah, two beautiful Shabbatot, friendship, laughter and fun, this was a truly unforgettable journey.
A huge thank you to our incredible staff team and madrichim who worked tirelessly to make this trip possible and create such meaningful experiences for our pupils.
Year 9, we couldnโt be prouder of you. ๐ฎ๐ฑโค๏ธ

Today, our Year 10 Aim High pupils enjoyed an inspiring visit to Balliol College, University of Oxford. ๐
The day included a guided tour of the college by a current undergraduate, lunch in the historic Dining Hall, an admissions talk and Q&A, and a fascinating study skills workshop led by a current PhD student exploring the nature of History.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to gain a real insight into life and study at Oxford, and we hope todayโs experience has inspired many of them to aim high and consider applying to Oxbridge in the future. We look forward to seeing where their ambitions take them!

๐ Year 10 Interview Skills Workshop ๐
This morning, our Year 10 pupils took part in their annual Interview Skills Workshop, developing confidence, communication and skills for the future.
We were delighted to welcome back Yavneh alumnus Lawrence Rosenberg, who reached the final five of this yearโs BBC The Apprentice. Lawrence shared his inspiring career journey, experiences from the show and valuable advice to help our pupils think confidently about their own pathways.
Pupils then took part in mock interviews with local professionals from across Hertfordshire, gaining invaluable experience and practising the skills needed to succeed in future opportunities.
A huge thank you to for organising our wonderful volunteer interviewers, and to all the professionals who generously gave their time to support our Year 10 pupils. Your encouragement and expertise make such a difference. ๐
We look forward to seeing our pupils put these skills into practice as they continue their journeys! โจ

This morning, Debra and Olivia from The Together Plan presented Year 8 pupils with certificates in recognition of their fantastic commitment to the Making History Together programme.
Throughout the programme, pupils explored hidden stories from the Holocaust, reflected on the importance of memory and identity, and discovered how the values of Tikkun Olam inspire us all to be upstanders and make a positive difference in the world. Their thoughtful participation, teamwork and dedication have been outstanding.
A special commendation was given to Raphael M, Leo and Jacob for their exceptional contributions throughout the programme.
Kol hakavod to all of the pupils involved โ we are so proud of you! ๐
