Getting fit doesn’t happen overnight — and that’s where a lot of people get frustrated.
Real progress comes from showing up consistently, keeping things simple, and being patient with the process. It’s rarely about smashing every session or doing something extreme.
If you feel like you’re putting effort in but not seeing much change yet, it doesn’t mean it’s not working. Most of the time, it just needs more time and better structure.

👋 Meet Matt
If you’re new here, I’m Matt — a Personal Trainer for over 7 years and a PE Teacher for the past 10 years.
Sport and coaching have always been a big part of my life, and I even spent 4 months travelling across America teaching sport to all ages, which was one of the experiences that really shaped how I coach today.
I’ve run 3 marathons, represented England in FutNet, played football my whole life, boxed, and worked with people from complete beginners to competitive athletes.
I’ve also been on my own weight-loss journey, losing 4 stone at one point — so I fully understand what it feels like to start again, build discipline, and keep going when it’s tough. That experience massively influences the way I support others through their own journeys.
Overall, my coaching is straightforward, realistic, and focused on helping people feel stronger, fitter, and more confident in day-to-day life.

🏃♂️ Client Highlight: Jonny
Jonny’s been training with me for about 5 months now, and from the start he made it clear what he wanted — to get faster and improve his running.
He’s already a really keen runner, but he wanted to take things up a level. So we’ve been working on a mix of strength and conditioning to support his running, and of course, plenty of actual run work too.
The best part?
His times across every distance have come down massively. That’s down to his consistency, his attitude, and how much effort he puts in week after week.
