🌦️ What a week of weather we've had at Ladybird Nursery! 🌞🌧️
This week we experienced all types of weather. When the rain came pouring down, we put on our puddle suits and had great fun splashing in puddles! 💦
Back indoors, we enjoyed playing on our soft play equipment, developing our confidence and physical skills. Then, when the sun came out, we headed back outside for some hopscotch fun and explored our amazing new food stones in the mud kitchen. 🍎🥕🥧
Whatever the weather, the children have been busy learning, exploring and having lots of fun together! 😊

Our nursery children have had a super time learning all about Supertato! 🦸🥔
We made our own superhero masks, explored fruit and vegetable tasting, and loved comparing different vegetables together. The children enjoyed talking about textures, colours, shapes and flavours while building their confidence to try new foods.
Such a fun week of learning through play! 💚🍅🥕🥒

So excited! 26 days and counting! Yes we're a little, late announcing this, and swinging by the seat of something - but Weyford has this and I want to throw colour at Mrs Roadnight (nicely and respectfully)! As our lovely volunteers please can you all sign your awesome children up and feedback any feedback as I'm not great at this communicating thing! https://forms.office.com/e/7RP2MfDMCQ link to the form so you don't have to scan the QR code you're looking at on your phone!

We also need lovely volunteers for the day - it will be 2 - 5.30 ish, we'll all be juggling kids so will drift in and out, but if you can give some time on the day please comment!

🌿🪵 Ladybird Class Forest Adventure 🪵🌿
Today, our wonderful Ladybird Class enjoyed a fantastic visit to the forest! The children explored the woodland, climbed over logs, balanced on tree stumps, and discovered the beauty of nature all around them. 🍃🌳
Using sticks they collected, the children worked together to create different shapes and patterns, showing great teamwork, imagination, and problem-solving skills. From triangles and squares to creative nature art, everyone had so much fun learning through play outdoors! ✨
We are so proud of their curiosity, confidence, and adventurous spirit during today’s forest exploration. 🌟

Today in Ladybird Class, we had so much fun using water squirters to put out pretend fires! 🚒💦
The children loved stepping into the role of real firefighters, working together and staying active while building their gross motor skills. Lots of laughter, teamwork, and excitement all around—such a fantastic way to learn through play! 🔥✨
