Small acts of kindness go a long way!

At Progress Schools Thrapston, our students are leading the charge when it comes to spreading kindness in their community.

Each week, they take any leftover food and deliver it to their local homeless shelter, Envision Homeless Accommodation - reducing food waste while supporting those who need it most.

It’s a simple act, but one that shows how even small gestures of generosity can make a meaningful difference.

We’re incredibly proud to see our young people developing not only academically, but as compassionate, community-minded individuals.

Thank you Ashley for taking the time to come in and discuss Progress Schools and the need for . Looking forward to working together to improve education for our young people!

It was fascinating to meet with David Holden-Locke to discuss Progress Schools and the Alternative Educational Provision and how important it is for meeting all our children’s needs. Some exciting developments ahead.

Also great when we realised we’d known each other 30 years ago on the Executive Committee of the British Youth Council. Amazing!

Students had a brilliant first couple of days back at Thrapston! They were thrilled to see all the changes that had been completed over the summer holidays.
A new intervention room, new equipment and most importantly coming up with names for their new Thrapston mascot!

Overall, a remarkable start to the school year in all aspects. As a team, we are exhilarated to see where this year takes us, only up from here!

We are thrilled to share some cherished snapshots from last week's Year 11 Graduation Day at Thrapston. It was a day filled with pride, joy, and unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. 📸🎉

Our Head of School (HoS) went above and beyond to make this day extra special. Each graduate received a stunning graduation dress adorned with a 2023 graduation sash. To make the occasion even more memorable, a thoughtful pack was compiled, containing a graduation certificate, a motivational keyring, and a graduation hat gift box filled with delightful goodies. 🎓✨
