On Wednesday we held our 1st summer Open/Recruitment day at Runcorn ABC for our Level 2 and 3 Fitness and Personal Training qualifications starting in September.

Thanks to all the young people, parents and careers advisors who came and we are looking forward to our next one on Wednesday 12th July 1pm-3pm.

We have spaces left on all our programmes so get in touch if you are between 16-19 (upto 24 with an EHCP) and have an interest in a career in Sports, Education or Fitness 👍👊

Its our 1st week back in College but we have a number of spaces across our sites, If you are between 16 & 19 and interested in gaining to the qualifications to gain an Apprenticeship, UCAS points to go to University, Become a fully qualified Personal Trainer then we have the pathway for you!

We deliver Level 2 & 3 Sports Coaching, Fitness Instructing & Personal Training qualifications.

And we deliver these at sites in Anfield, Bootle, Widnes & Runcorn to help you achieve your goals!!

Aged between 16-19 and interested in a career within the fitness industry.

We are looking to recruit around 20 young people to enrol onto our L2 Fitness and L3 Personal Training courses starting in September at our brand new site at Anfield Boxing Club & Education Centre, Whilst on program you will be able to achieve:

L2 Fitness Instructing Qualification

L3 Personal Training Qualification

L1 Kettle Bells

L1 Circuit Training

Learners will train and study at our site at Anfield & North Liverpool Boxing Club & Education Centre, 180A Queens Drive, Walton, L4 6XD and will have access to our gym at Activity For All, Maguire Avenue, Bootle, L20 9PQ,

From here they will be have FREE access to the boxing club as a student of a evening and FREE access to our gym in Activity For All allowing students to:

Train for free

Train with a friend for free

Once building up a client base can use the gym free of charge to help support there development when training potential clients, current clients or deliver circuits or 121s of their choice

Students will be able to claim a bursary which is between £10-£30 per week!!

Students will be offered a friend referral bonus of £50!!

Students once completed 6 weeks will receive a £50 voucher to buy gym clothing or products to support with their learning!!

We offer Personal Training apprenticeships and ensure all learners once completed have a progression route into an apprenticeship, employment or become self employed as a fully qualified Personal Trainer.

This is a fully funded completely free college qualification that will take place over 2.5 days a week with the opportunity to also achieve English & Maths qualifications in school if the learner hasn’t previously gained a 4 or above.

We are taking applications for all our sports coaching qualifications starting in September 2022 across all sites for anyone between 16-19.

Study Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications progressing to apprenticeship, employment or university.

L2 Fitness Instructing
L3 Personal Training
L3 Diploma in Sports Coaching
Boxing Coaching
Funded FA Level 1 Coaching Badge

And these all take place at our Football, Fitness & Boxing Hubs in Anfield, Bootle & Runcorn.

Weve been at Runcorn ABC today for the start of our Academic Boxing Program with our learners beginning there Level 2 Fitness qualification, Gym and Classroom looking great before today's lessons began!!

We are still recruiting this year for anyone between 16-24, You will study Level 2 Fitness, Level 3 Personal Training, in a purpose built boxing facility and classroom all completely funded.

We continue to recruit for our courses starting in September and will be holding a number of Enrichment/Open Days next week at our sites,

This is an opportunity for anyone between 16-18 to come down and speak to us about our courses, what you can achieve with ourselves and the pathways and careers this can lead to, if you are interested or know someone who is interested in a career in Sport, Leisure, Personal Training, Gym Instructing, Physio, sports science, Football coaching and more then get in touch or turn up next week at one of our sites to find out everything about what we do at AFA!!
