UPDATE !!
Hello everyone, we hope you are well,
After Ofsted’s initial visit on Monday 13th February, which resulted in us being placed under temporary suspension, we were then served with a welfare notice outlining certain criteria that had to be met and various measures that needed to be put in place to ensure Zak’s was providing a safe environment for all the children under our supervision. We as a team have since been working tirelessly to respond to the actions required of us in accordance with the welfare notice.
On Tuesday 21st February we had a suspension review meeting with Ofsted who came to assess how well we have responded to the welfare notice and to determine whether we have implemented effective measures to ensure the safety of all children under our supervision. As a result of the review meeting, Ofsted have since served us with a second welfare notice stating that there are now just two matters that we must address before they can re-assess the current suspension. The date by which me must respond to these two matters is set for Friday 3rd March. Therefore it is expected that we will be closed for an additional week with the hope of reopening on Monday 6th March if all goes accordingly.
Furthermore, we are currently in the process of rectifying all accounts as we are aware that many of you have had additional charges incorrectly added onto your accounts. This is a result of the automated booking system and will be corrected as soon as possible.
We understand that these are difficult and uncertain times and we just wanted to say that we greatly appreciate your understanding and co-operation whilst we do our best to ensure Zak’s can reopen as soon as possible. We will be sure to keep you updated once we know more information.
Many thanks
