Congratulations to the pupils who represented SS Osmund & Andrew’s in Week 1 of the Bolton School Games Primary Schools Cross Country League, where there were over 150 runners in each of the boys’ and girls’ categories. We are so proud of their effort and determination. Some of our runners finished in the top 30 of their categories and after the first week, our boys’ team is in the top 10 of all schools! Well done to everyone and good luck in Week 2 this week!

Our GIFT Team – Missioned to Serve
A very special moment last week as eight Year 6 pupils were enrolled and missioned by Father Emmanuel as members of our GIFT Team – Growing in Faith Together – Pupil Chaplaincy Team. Wearing their new purple badges with pride, they received a special blessing as they begin their mission to serve, lead prayer and joyfully share the love of Christ throughout our school. We are so proud of them and look forward to seeing them grow in faith together.

During the summer, Mrs Davis took a gift to Pope Leo on behalf of the children of SS Osmund and Andrew's. It it a beautiful crochet gift depicting our school mission statement of 'Love, Faith and Hope.' A huge thank you to one of our ex-pupils, Leah Mills, for creating it for us.

This is Mrs Davis handing over our gift to Pope Leo's emissary in Rome.
