I need to do a special mention to this absolute shining star 🌟

My first ever student back in September who was reluctant to have a tutor but did not show it. She has shown up every Sunday morning with her beautiful smile and put 110% into everything I threw at her (even after a late Saturday night!) 😴

Her lack of confidence in maths was holding her back but after just a few weeks, a few gaps filled and some well-needed confidence boosts, she absolutely flew! The progress she has made has been phenomenal thanks to her super positive attitude and resilience 💪

She smashed her SATs and is beyond ready for high school where I know she will continue to flourish. An absolute gem who I will miss dearly in September ❤️

If you have a child due to start school in September, then here are 5 fun things you can do with them to best prepare their little hands for writing.

✏️ There is no pressure or expectation to have your child already writing before they start. The best thing parents can do is lay the foundations by building in these easy activities to your daily routine that will help build strength and fine motor skills as well as encourage creativity.
