Y6 designed and made chairs in their Art & Design lessons recently

Reception had a great PE session outside. First they were controlling the ball with some careful throwing and catching and then they finished with a little bit of sports day practicing, moving around with the tennis ball on the racket. Well done Reception.

Today Class Two have been using the iPads and Seesaw to research and record facts about an author called Lauren Child, if you have any books of hers at home please feel free to send them into school.

Unfortunately we have had to take the decision to postpone Sportsday tomorrow. The heavy rain last night has left the field rather soggy and,coupled with the forecast for today and tomorrow of more rain, it seems wise to call it early. We have a reserve day booked in for next Thursday afternoon - so fingers crossed for a better week of weather.
