Toddler rooms star of the week is … Bobby!🌟🥳

Here’s a few things we got up too in the toddler room this week! 🍂🧡🌧️
The toddlers have been LOVING all the autumn crafts and tuff trays and have ABSOLUTELY loved going out in the autumn rain and splashing in all the puddles!

🐍🐌 ZOO LAB VISIT🕷️🕸️

“Zoo on the Broom” 🧙🏼‍♀️🧹

The fantastic zoo lab shared their GREAT Halloween story with us and allowed our toddlers and preschool children to be introduced to and some even held some amazing creatures.

🕷️ We enjoyed looking at the TARANTULA!! We learn that most are non-venomous to humans, even if they do have very sharp fangs!

🪳We LOVED exploring with the COCKROACH!! (Not the type we see on our usual holiday destinations) We learnt although they live in dirt and eat rubbish they are very clean animals.

🐸 We had a Brilliant time looking at the FROG!! We learnt not only do they swallow their food with their eyes they also changed colour and camouflage to the colour of leaves (green).

🐍 The biggest animal we explored was a SNAKE!! The snake was very active and alert and loved saying hello to all of our children! We learnt that the snake was slightly darker, due to it being about to shred a layer of skin very soon.

🐌 We especially loved enjoying the natural moisturiser from the great SNAIL!! He slowly popped his eyes out to see all the children and used his singular foot to leave a little trail on our hands which we were able to rub together once he had moved on.

🐹 We had the pleasure of meeting a very cute GERBIL!! We didn’t get to hold this one as they love to wriggle and sometime nibble things.

Once the story had ended we said a HUGE thank you to Chris the Ranger from ZooLab and went to wash our hands to make them nice, clean and safe for us to continue our day! We continued our fantastic discussions throughout the slightly delayed lunchtime and into the afternoon. I would like to add how INCREDIBLY proud I am of each child and staff member who participated in the activity and ensure not only the safety of the children throughout but ensured their learning was fun and interactive! 😁💕 World Smile Day! 💕😁

Today is world smile day! The preschoolers started off their morning talking about what makes them smile and we thought of things like… our mummy’s, daddy’s, brothers, sisters, dogs, cats, rocket ships, dinosaurs and lots more!👩🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻🦖🐱
We then did a big cheesy smile and made sure we started our day off with a smile, then moved on to our activities. Today we have been making some beautiful drawings of what makes us smile, brushing the big set of teeth to make sure they are squeaky clean, matched the facial features together, and played a self care memory game!
We have had lots of fun and made sure our smiles stay on all day long!😁🩵

Now that it is officially Autumn, we have been very busy creating fun, colourful, enjoyable activities in the baby room. We have had so much fun doing these activities and can’t wait to continue!🍂

Here are some of the activities done last week:

🪵🦉 Preschools Gruffalo Week! 🦊🌳

Welcome to the start of our Gruffalo week!🪾🦔
Today the preschool children have made some owl ice cream, exploring different textures, feelings, numbers and letters, and they have created some amazing gruffalo pictures! 🍦🦉🧡
They started off painting the gruffalo fur brown, then added orange eyes, purple prickles, terrible tusks, and a poisonous wart on the end of his nose! 🤎🦷👀

Blair has turned into a super chatty little lady and it is so lovely to see her personality flourish! She has also gained so much confidence recently - especially at swimming😄

Toddlers star of the week is… ARIA!🌈🌟💕
Aria has the most contagious beautiful smile and spreads so much kindness in the toddler room! She has also been doing absolutely amazing with all her colour knowledge often telling us what colours she can see in the room!✨ Well done Aria have a lovely weekend with Barney!💜
